Milleneufcentquatrevingtquatre silk scarves - Made in Lyon, France

Milleneufcentquatrevingtquatre est une jeune marque française née de la collaboration d’Amélie Charroin et Marie Colin-Madan, Milleneufcentquatrevingtquatre comme l'année de naissance de ces deux jeunes designers textile diplômées de L’ENBA, spécialisées à l'origine dans l'imprimé dessiné haut de gamme .

 

Basées à Lyon, berceau historique des soyeux et passionnées d'Art, elles décident de jouer avec les codifications du foulard en soie et créent leurs propres collections de carrés imprimés. 

 

Leurs imprimés, échafaudés à quatre mains sont imprégnés à la fois de l'univers traditionnel des carrés au cadre plat ainsi que d'une esthétique contemporaine influencée par la musique, les clips-videos, la peinture, l'histoire de l'art...   Leurs images singulières mêlent techniques mixtes, dessins, peinture, photomontage... Elles s'évertuent à construire des images narratives où la mise en place des éléments tient compte principalement des quatre angles et non plus seulement du centre.

 

Respecter la qualité du savoir faire local est pour elles chose essentielle. Elles impriment et façonnent leurs pièces autour de chez elles, dans la région lyonnaise.

Les carrés sont disponibles chez Kapok, aux dimensions 65cm X 65cm .

Since the creation of the brand in 2007, Bérangère Claire continues to present a new collection each season; classics and basics, with refined details, for both men and women. At the heart of this approach is a desire to offer garments that are easy to wear everyday, and which represent a style rather than a fashion; simple and chic at affordable prices. The collections are made the same way for both women and men, using adapted patterns with the same materials and detailing, to provide an ideal and contemporary wardrobe. All Bérangère Claire designs are manufactured in France in limited numbers.

Betina Lou offre des pièces de prêt-à-porter intemporelles et féminines, inspirées par des muses d'hier et d'aujourd'hui. Explorant les constructions classiques du vêtement, les collections se distinguent par l'utilisation de teintes neutres et de détails discrets. Confectionnées à Montréal, elles sont coupées principalement dans des matières naturelles comme la soie, le coton, la laine ...

La designer Marie-Eve Emond a acquis près de 10 ans d'expérience auprès de différentes entreprises de mode avant de lancer la ligne Betina Lou. Ses années comme assistante-designer et directrice de production pour une ligne haut de gamme lui ont inculqué un goût pour les matières de qualité et un œil pour les ajustements étudiés.

Uniform Wares # 100 Series

Uniform Wares designs and produces timepieces based around a philosophy that is firmly rooted in classic British design and contemporary styling. It's wristwatches are intended for everyday use by individuals with an eye for meticulous detailing and a passion for diligent, modern design.

Established in 2009 by product designers, Patrick Bek and Oliver Fowles, the Uniform Wares aesthetic has been tailored with longevity in mind and a firm belief in design with a practical and visual permanence. Each Series is intentionally pared down and characterised by distinct form, durable materials, classic and seasonal colours and engineered surface finishes. While the movements are handpicked from the best Japanese and Swiss manufacturers, every other component part of a Uniform Wares watch, from the CNC machined buckle to the hand drawn font on the back of each case, is conceived, developed and designed in the company's London offices.
